To Ride a Silver Broomstick
by Silver RavenWolf
To be fair, I have to say that this was one of my first books on
the Craft and it was vital to my development as a Witch. It is a
well-written book that covers a wide variety of topics with grace.
I say that first off because over the past year or so I've become
increasingly disenchanted with Silver, who seems to be pandering
to the crowd just a little bit too eagerly in her book-after-book-after-book
spree. I dislike the Wiggle Girls on the covers of her books, and
I dislike her inability to stay on topic long enough to cover anything
thoroughly. I'm also tired of the cute-ification of Wicca, of which
Silver is the pioneer. However, I do recommend this book for beginners.
It's well worth a read and will help you get your head on straight
as you start out.
