Kaballistic Prayer to the Goddess
Prayer for the nullification of profane and discursive thought during prayer and meditation - by Soror Sia II*

Original translation by Mark Tippetts from the siddur Tephilat Yesharim, a Sephardic prayer book. Subsiquent revisions were made to make it accessible to both men and women on a Thelemic, Kaballistic path.

Behold, I contemplate the Ain from which was manifested the Sephiroth, which are Kether, Chokhmah, Binah, Chesed, Gevurah, Tephereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth. The light is hidden and concealed in the Highest Kether, and from there the light spreads out into the Yod, which is Chokhmah; the Hey, which is Understanding, the Vav, which includes the six Sephiroth Chesed, Gevurah, Tephereth, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod; and the Hey, which is Malkuth. Unto the Great Light which is clothed in the ten Sephiroth we raise the focus of prayer, blessings and acknowledgments; the learning of the Law; and the fulfillment of the Will and the words of the Prophet; and all good thoughts and holy convictions of the heart, in order to bring down the highest influx and great blessing from the light which is Atiqa Qadisha (who is the Highest Kether) to Abba and Imma (who are Chokhmah and Binah), and from Abba and Imma to HaQadosh Barukh Hu and the Chaqal Tapuchin Qadishin (which are Tephereth and Malkuth).

Behold, I also believe one Secret and ineffable LORD and in one Star in the company of Stars of whose fire we are created, and to which we shall return; and in one Father of Life, Mystery of Mystery, in His name Hadit, the sole viceregent of the Sun upon the Earth; and in one Air the nourisher of all that breathes.

My Will is One, It is with One. It was, it is, and It will be. It was hidden and concealed in Kether. It is the One clothed in the ten Sephiroth of Atziluth, and It will be the One clothed in Tephereth and Malkuth. Unto my Will I dedicate my Nephesh, my Ruach, and my Neshamah for the sanctification of IAO, and Ie accept upon myself the yoke of the Kingdom with great love and enthusiasm, as it is written:

I believe in one Universe, the Mother of us all, and in one Womb wherein all are begotten, and wherein they shall rest, Mystery of Mystery, in Her name Nuit.

I am the manifestation of the Serpent and the Lion, entwined in my Heart, the child of the Gods.

Behold, I reveal my faith and my will before the Blessed Holy Ones wholeheartedly and enthusiastically, to nullify utterly, in complete surrender, according to the Law, all alien, defective, corrupt, and forbidden thoughts; every kind of evil idea; every evil, defective, corrupt, and forbidden image; any thought of haughtiness, particle of arrogance, or ulterior motive; and any kind of anger, wrath, or impatience, should it arise in my heart or mind at any time that is contrary to my True Will.

Behold, I decree about them that they are all totally null and void in every aspect and detail, invalid and unfounded, without exception in general and in principle. May this decree, proclamation, and acknowledgment which I am decreeing, proclaiming, and acknowledging before the Blessed Holy Ones have force, courage, and strength like the force, courage, and strength of the Law of Thelema and the Heart of Ra-Hoor-Kuit. So has the Prophet of blessed memory given unto us knowledge of Duty and magick, in the making and keeping of holy oaths of magick and Will. And may the force of this oath be established and efficacious according to the Law of Thelema. And may this decree and this proclamation and acknowledgment which I decree, proclaim, and acknowledge be valid and established in the courts of the Aeythers and Earth, in the assemblies of all the chosen, the prophets, and the people of the Great Order, and before the Stele, the Fire, the Water, and all of the Saints of Thelema.

I now confess in complete and perfect gratitude, authoritative, ever and eternally established, wholeheartedly and enthusiastically, that all my labor is for the sake of Union with my Holy Guardian Angel, who is my True Will and the Light that emanates from Kether. Whether in prayer, in study of the Law, or in fulfillment of the commandments mentioned in the Law, and the words of the Prophets and scribes, in all matters of holiness, all is for the sake of doing my True Will. Blessed Be the names of Nuit and Hadit, our ancestors, Rulers of the world, Who have sanctified us with their commandments and commanded and given to us the Book of the Law of Truth, and to unify HaQadosh Barukh Hu and the Shekhinah in love under will, unifying the name Yod-Hey with Vav-Hey in complete unity, in the name of Thelema.

May you be pleased with me, Holy Ones of our ancestors, and may you establish the works of our hands, and may our works be established.

May the words of my lips and the meditation of my heart be desirable to you my Self of myself, my Will, and my Beloved.
